Square dancing is social dance performed to upbeat music by four couples arranged in a square formation.  The caller tells the dancers which move - or call - to perform. There are several levels to learning the calls. Our club teaches Mainstream and Plus calls. Once you are a Plus level dancer, you can dance at any club across the US and internationally!

It is a commitment to learn to square dance but the rewards are immense and will last a life time! And lessons are a ton of fun! You should expect to graduate as a Plus level dancer in approximately five to six months. If you need to miss a class or two, we will get you up to speed upon your return.

Square dancing IS a couples activity. You don't need a partner to attend classes and learn the moves. Each class will include "angels" who are specifically chosen experienced dancers to help the students. You may have an angel as your partner during class. However, to attend regular dances, you will need a partner and the club cannot guarantee one will be there for you. Single students may find that perfect partner during class.
